Snyder County Prison Chaplaincy Mission Statement:

*We believe that we were created to be in relationship with God and that Jesus, through his life, death and resurrection has provided for us the way to be right with God.  We believe that dealing with the spiritual aspect of our lives is a critical piece of the change and recovery process. 

*We believe that those in prison are in need of what the local Christian community has to offer and that the local Christian community is in need of the life and vitality that those in recovery bring to us.

*Thus we work to share the life changing power of Jesus Christ with those in prison for the purpose of helping as many as possible come into a relationship with Jesus Christ that will set the course for the rest of their life and eternity.

*We represent the Snyder County Christian community at the Snyder County Prison and we represent the concerns and issues of those in recovery and being released from prison to the Snyder County community.
